![]() All signals feeding the ATEM are 1080p at 23.94fps. So here is my thought: is there some sort of static discharge issue happening when there are more people in the room that is messing with the BMD adapters? The ATEM's program and multi view outputs are solid, it's just the inputs.Ĭurious if anyone else has run into anything like this, and definitely looking for suggestions of what I can try that I haven't yet to isolate this issue!Įdit: cable is 4.5G rated. I can definitely say that the issue happens far more often with more people in the facility. The flicker is less than a second, but some weeks it happens often enough that it can be fairly distracting.Īdditionally, we're at a church location and between different COVID lockdown restrictions, sometimes there are 100 people in the building and sometimes there are only 10 or so. It's not a signal mismatch or anything, everything will work fine sometimes for hours, and then one or more of the cameras (sometimes all of them at once) will flicker. The issue we're having, is that we will get occasional dropouts totally randomly. We use Blackmagic HDMI to SDI adapters and one Decimator to get the SLR signals to the ATEM. We use all 1694F HD-SDI cable, and none of the runs are longer than 100'. We use a mix of cameras and equipment, but everything is going through an ATEM TV Studio HD. Okay, I've been struggling with this for several weeks now.
